Our beach villa is located in northern Australia in a small community called Holloways Beach. The home is located along the white sandy palm tree lined beaches about 10 miles north of the city of Cairns. We are using the home as a retirement place for ourselves about four months of the year and are interested in sharing the home with our friends when we are not using it.

The home is located just a few minutes drive from many of Australia's major tourist attractions.

It is just walking distance from the home to an on the beach restaurant and deli. Also a grocery store is within walking distance.

A wonderful location for weddings and Receptions. Great for photography on the beach and in the home with its spiral stairways, balconies gardens and swimming pool settings.

General Information

A passport is required for Australia. A tourist VISA is required for stays up to two months and are readily obtainable through the airlines. Just make the request for the VISA through your airline and they will take care of it electronically.

A rental car of you choice will be delivered to the home when you need it. Public transportation is available from the front door of the home.  Also, most tours offer pickup service at the home if scheduled through your host, Lex and Jenny.

ATM machines are readily available to obtain local currency.  All major ATM cards are accepted. Travelers checks are unnecessary.
