Reservations Deposit: A deposit of 25 % of
the total rental amount must be received within 10 working
days to hold your reservation. The balance, 75%, must be
received 30 days before arrival along with your security
deposit.
Security Deposit: A
security deposit of $500 should be provided 30 days
before your arrival or with your final rent
payment. This deposit is fully refundable within 14
days following the end of your rental period, if the
premises are left undamaged, all inventory intact,
all financial obligations met, and home keys
returned. Missing keys must, for security reasons,
result in re-keying of the house. Re-keying expense
will be charged to the renter. Renter is asked to
leave dishes clean, bedding should be bundled on top
of bed and trash must be taken outside to the
garbage receptacle. A portion of this security
deposit will be used for cleaning and/or trash
removal if your rental home is left excessively
dirty or littered, in our sole judgment. Security
deposits can be paid by personal check up to 30
days prior to occupancy. Internet bank transfer is
preferred. Only Internet bank transfer, money order
or cashier’s checks payment will be accepted if your
security deposit is paid less than 30 days prior to
occupancy.
Payment Method:
If
you are set up for bill payment by
Internet at your bank, the owner will provide you
the Routing number and Account number for his bank
so you can transfer the funds on the Internet.
As an alternative the funds can be posted to the
owner by money order, bank check or cashier's check
in Australian Dollars or US Dollars. The owner will
provide the address.

Cancellations: If you need to cancel a
confirmed reservation for any reason, no refund of
previously paid reservation deposits/prepaid rents will be
allowed, unless the reserved home can be rebooked for the
same reservation period and price. If we are notified of a
cancellation, we will make every effort to rebook the home
you have reserved, and will refund your prepaid amounts,
based upon any alternative revenue received, less a 10%
service fee. Any such refunds will only be made once we
actually receive the replacement reservation deposits and/or
prepaid rents for your reserved booking period. Security
deposits are fully refundable. |
